We're just getting started with approaching global giants in robotics, looking for R&D partners who'd like to be part of the next phase of ASTRID development.
We are approaching several robotics companies around the world that have products that would benefit massively from real autonomy. Any robotics company that services applications in loosely controlled or uncontrolled environments, is a prime target for our technology. As the current wave of Generative AI is starting to show its shortcomings, especially for fully autonomous applications, robotics are soon running into the same problems as self-driving cars. The development of self-driving cars has hit its ceiling a few years back already, and shows exactly what the main problem is: scaling the training-set does not bring real autonomy. Deep Learning, and now Large Language Models, are incapable of reasoning, and therefore incapable of handling novel and uncertain situations. The other difficulty with those technologies is that they are trained before application, and thereafter the system is basically a static model. They cannot learn 'on the go', new experiences are not added in real-time to the systems. Updating these systems with new information takes a lot of time and resources, and subsequently the system is, again, static. |
Our ASTRID-system is actually continuously learning and adding knowledge to its internal world-model. New experiences are instantly available for the inference-engine. This is because the system's training-interface and application-interface are one and the same. MIND|CONSTRUCT is now entering the phase of vertical application development and subsequently market introduction. We are confident that our technology will dominate the AI-space within just a few years. Because of this, we are also preparing our Series-A funding round, to accommodate this next big step. We are already in talks with several robotics companies, who do understand the need for a system that can actually reason over up-to-date knowledge. The first few companies are ready to sign partnerships with us, and we expect more will follow. If you are heading a robotics company that aims to deliver autonomous applications, feel free to contact us. We have a short but concise explanation about autonomy on the website here: Full autonomy explained. |
