We have finally started the development and implementation of our first ASTRID prototype. We expect to have a substantially working version before the end of this year. When ready, this version will be available for public demonstrations.
The current version is being developed in PHP, with the assistance of OpenAdvantage's Code-generation Platform. Using PHP together with the code-generation technology makes it possible to build the R&D infrastructure for the prototype (basically a dashboard for the data-model) very fast. This will help us to get to the first implementation of our AGI-model as fast as possible. |
This first version will act mainly as a 'proof of concept' and has therefore no speed optimizations. Optimizing for speed will happen when we move the project to production-level status. Before we get to that phase, we will execute rigorous technology selection to find the best tools and platforms for optimal results. |
