Organization: Virtualization cluster scaled up
Posted: 2018-11-19

In conjunction with our move to the new office location in Oosterhout, we have scaled-up our virtualization cluster (that is mainly running the ASTRID-system) significantly.

The virtualization cluster went from 8 cpu cores and 32 Gb ram to a whoping 40 cpu cores and 160 Gb ram. We also currently have 16 Terrabyte of storage, soon to be doubled as well. All this power and capacity will be utilized in the coming months when we go to the final stage of training the ASTRID system with large amounts  of Commonsense Knowledge and bringing the system up to 'autonomous cognition level'.
